8" x 10" oil on canvas covered hardboard painted en plein air - $85 including shipping.
I can be sure Spring is on the way when the local park is buzzing with little guys wearing baseball uniforms and eating hot dogs. This little creek runs through Griffin Park in Tunnel Hill, GA, and will soon be the site of the Great Whitfield County Duck Race.

I played baseball at Griffin park in North Vancouver,B.C., when I was a kid. You will be wanting to move to Californy and join the plein air movement. I belong to the "thin air" school-I pull them out of thin air. I just come up with them? I think what you're doing is a good idea as it develops and strengthens painting muscles.c
Sometimes I attend classes at the "thin air" school, too. It seems to exercise the 'wonder what if' muscles.
Plein air painting is definitely NOT for sissies. Most of the ones I've done lately are within a short walking distance of the car.
I'm trying to 'expand my artistic horizons' by using different techniques, supports, subjects, etc.
This Griffin Park is about 5 minutes from my house. It's a small park with 2 ball fields, a tennis court, walking track, picnic area and the little creek.
Thanks for your comments - and for visiting my blog ! bj :o)
