The April heavy frost in this North Georgia area killed much of the trees' new leaf growth, giving the impression of Fall colors in Spring. The colors are quite wonderful, but difficult to match when painting them onto canvas.

Thanks for your kind comment! I had gone to this park to paint but the wind was really bad so I shot some pics. It was about 10am and the sunlight was streaming over the mountain onto the meadow. Just gorgeous. Paint can't capture nature's beauty. But we foolish mortals still try.
