Frosted

18" x 22" watercolor and acrylic on stretched
watercolor canvas $ 290

This was one of the last leaves still wearing
a costume of Autumn. I caught a photo just
as the sun was setting. Frost came soon
after.

This was the first time I had used Fredrix
stretched watercolor canvas. It is a
wonderful painting support - fine weave
and takes paint beautifully.

i have been checking your website out for a few days now (saw one of your pics on Daily Painting) and really like your technique and current run of subjects. i've recently started using transparent acrylics on watercolor canvas and i really love it. it's opened up my work quite a bit, as you can see by a few examples on my website www.dubhsidhestudios.com. keep up your excellent work.

Thank you so much for the kind words! Your website mirrors my own interests - anything Celtic, fancy trees, faeries, the "what if" realm. I do appreciate the approval. We artists need an "atta girl" once in awhile, don't we ?! :o) bjw
