haunted....

OK, so I didn't complete a Halloween painting.
The next best thing is posting this photo of the haunted ruins located at Barnsley Gardens near Rome, GA.
I've been there on a bright sunny Summer day, but there's still an uneasy air about the location. The gardens are beautiful and meticulous --- and the ruins are well-kept.
But still........

Casa de Bandini - cropped

This is a cropped section of the larger painting.

The original painting measures 28 " x 22 " and is oil on stretched canvas. I will post the larger painting tomorrow.

Prints are available.

This was painted from a photo taken by my daughter, Ann, while we were visiting Old Town State Historic Park in San Diego, California.

The adobe structure, built in 1829, was originally a residence and later a restaurant (now closed). I've been told that it is haunted. Employees working at the restaurant stated that the lights blinked, strange noises were heard and things were moved around.
